My second meal in Hong Kong was breakfast at this cha chaan tang for some lethally good French toast with peanut butter jammed inside that scandalously buttery calorie pillow 🤤 Milk tea - thick taste, no sugar but not bitter. Fried egg in fried bread in an effort towards savoury but, let's face it, it was all about the French toast 😁
Got dressed up and generally misbehaved 🤷🏽‍♀️🙃 Looooong time since I've had to be fancy. Didn't cycle either 😆
Sun Hing in Kennedy Town, Hong Kong Island is a dim sum restaurant that you've probably never heard of. The staff aren't going to speak English and probably everything will be a bit hectic and confusing. But point, speak and smile, and maybe other customers will help out and you'll end up with delicious food whatever! First of all, wash your plates and chopsticks in a bowl of hot tea. Yes really. Then start grabbing delicious-looking plates from the staff as they go past or head to the corner and take plates off the side. First picture is of char siu bao, sweet and fluffy. We also devoured har gow (prawn dumplings), cheung fun (rice noodle rolls), siu mai, and lo back go (turnip cake). But the standout dishes are as follows ... First of all, steamed grouper in garlicky ginger heaven. No idea how to order this - we just pointed to the next table's food! Secondly, the custard buns. I was sceptical. Very sceptical. But these are unlike anything I've ever tasted. Cannot wait to eat these again.🤤🤤🤤
I know it's dirty but... Shake Shack Smoke Shack burgers are a bit of guilty pleasure 🤤
Be mine 😍💕💕💕
My local cafe is a nice spot to get some work done - big windows and plug sockets and plenty of space. And it's a very relaxed place, which is great when I'm stressing over stuff 😆 This healthy chicken rice (maze-gohan) is a solid lunch offering - genmai (brown rice) with plenty of coriander! But best of all is the cafe dog! She's so cute and jumped on my lap 😍 @canna_cafe_from_ag
